What is Zalo Mini App?
A lightweight app that runs inside the Zalo super-app, Vietnam's most-used messaging platform. For F&B brands, a Zalo Mini App is the lowest-friction way to launch loyalty and ordering because customers don't install anything new.
Deep dive: zalo mini app
Zalo Mini App is the practical answer to a problem every Vietnamese F&B chain hits: guests will not install a restaurant app, but almost all of them already have Zalo. A Mini App opens inside Zalo with no download, carries the guest's identity, and can hold the menu, the loyalty card, ordering and payment in one place the customer already trusts.
For operators the value is identity at the point of payment. Once a ticket is linked to a Zalo profile, anonymous transactions become a visit history, and messaging runs through Zalo OA where open rates sit far above email. The two mistakes to avoid are treating the Mini App as a separate ordering system whose orders arrive on a second screen, and launching it without a reason to return, a Mini App with no stored value, no tier and no offer is a menu that a QR code already delivered.
What is Zalo Mini App used for in F&B operations?
In multi-outlet restaurant and F&B operations, zalo mini app is an essential component, directly affecting service speed, order accuracy and margin. See the related terms below to understand where it fits in the broader stack.
How does LOOP support Zalo Mini App?
LOOP supports zalo mini app natively in its POS + KDS + inventory platform for Vietnamese F&B chains, no plugin or third-party integration required. It's one reason multi-outlet operators pick LOOP as their primary operations system.
