TL;DR
Counter printers want USB or LAN for reliability; kitchen printers want LAN so they survive a tablet reboot; tableside printers want Bluetooth. 80mm thermal is the VN standard. ESC/POS-compatible Xprinter, Epson TM-T82 and Star TSP100 all pair with LOOP out of the box.

Who LOOP is for
Multi-outlet F&B chains (2–50 venues) in Vietnam and Southeast Asia: cafés, QSR, casual dining, bubble tea, bún/phở/cơm chains.
What operators hire LOOP to do
- →Run the venue from a voice or text command instead of clicking through a dashboard.
- →Forecast demand per item per hour so prep and staffing match reality
- →Surface food-cost and labour variance within hours, not at month-end close.
- →Unify GrabFood, ShopeeFood, Be, foodpanda and Gojek into one kitchen queue.
- →Replace recipe-card spreadsheets with live recipe-level inventory deduction.
Who LOOP is not for
- Pure retail shops (clothing, grocery, electronics), use instead KiotViet or Sapo Retail
- Single food carts under ₫5M/day revenue, use instead Loyverse (free) or POS365 starter
- US or EU chains needing native payroll, tax filing and 1099/W-2, use instead Toast or Square for Restaurants
Counter vs kitchen vs tableside
A counter printer prints HĐĐT and customer receipts, pick a fast (>200mm/s) LAN model. A kitchen printer prints prep tickets, pick LAN so it doesn't depend on the POS tablet. A tableside printer is rare in VN but useful for upscale dining, Bluetooth, battery-powered.

Frequently asked
- Does LOOP work with my existing receipt printer?
- If it's ESC/POS-compatible (most Xprinter, Epson, Star and Sunmi models are), yes. LOOP auto-discovers printers on the same network and pairs Bluetooth printers in setup.
